Hello! Today, I wanted to share an amazing book I read this month. It is titled, "The Book of Two Ways" by Jodi Picoult. This novel explores the study of Egyptology, the realms of life and death, and it causes the reader to ponder idea of how our choices dictate the course of our existence. Dawn Edelstein is involved in a plane crash that provokes her imagination to ponder what could have been. The story is split into two timelines. One where she travels back home to her daughter and husband, while in the other, she returns to Egypt to resume the life she was beginning as an Egyptologist graduate student. I enjoyed this novel because it was truly unique. The story prompted me to think about the phenomenon known as life from a new perspective. It was easy to engulf myself in the past, present, and future life of Dawn Edelstein. I enjoyed reading each page of this book.
Until my next post... happy reading!
